The Sage Method was the top end Sage rod a few years ago. I purchased one at that time and I still frequently use it today. In my view it casts just as well as the later models.
A 15′ 10wt is really very little heavier than the more common 8-weight range, but the extra length and line weight make it vastly superior for delivering large flies or especially sink tips.
Here is a photo of my own Method 15′-10wt
with a beautifully conditioned 43″ Naver River, Scotland spring salmon taken on a sink tip and metal tube fly.
My fishing pal Ralph Vitale is donating this rod. I can assure you that it is as close to new as any used rod could possibly be. I looked on the internet and prices for this rod are generally $800 to $1,000.
